What Is GDPR?
The General Data Protection Regulation is a data protection framework designed to protect individuals’ personal information and give them greater control over how it is collected, used, stored and shared.
The EU GDPR became applicable on 25 May 2018. Following the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, the UK GDPR applies in the United Kingdom alongside the Data Protection Act 2018.
